The Modular Flood light PVDF coating range has the option to have a US Patented Marine Grade coating. We have taken the High powered regular series and stripped this back to its bare casing.

We realise the need for a high quality Marine Grade flood light that has both high lumen output together with the Marine grade quality.

Modular Flood Light PVDF Coating

This is a US Military Patented compound as used by the US Navy, known simply as PVDF.

This Modular Flood Light PVDF Coating has qualities that make the light protected when exposed to Ozone and Chlorine. This will also give excellent protection against salt spray environments such as coastal areas.

Polyvinylidene fluoride (PVDF) is valued for it's toughness, stability, and distinct engineering advantages. For example, if you need a polymer that will withstand exposure to harsh thermal, chemical, or ultraviolet conditions, porous PVDF offers superior stability similar to the performance of fluoropolymers in these environments.

PVDF is the homopolymer of 1, 1-di-fluoro-ethene. Its highly desirable insolubility and electrical properties result from the polarity of alternating CH2 and CF2 groups on the polymer chain. An extremely hard material, porous PVDF may be used at temperatures from -80 to 300°F (-62 to 149°C). No oxidation or thermal degradation occurs during continuous exposure to 300°F (149°C).

SUPERIOR RESISTANCE PROPERTIES

Polyvinylidene fluoride (PVDF) is a fluorocarbon and is classified as “Self Extinguishing, Group 1” by Underwriters’ Laboratories, Inc. It's unaffected by long-term exposure to sunlight and other sources of ultraviolet radiation. It retains its properties in high vacuum and gamma radiation and is resistant to most acids and alkalis. PVDF is the material of choice when the porous structure is exposed to ozone or chlorine.

High Lumen output

The Modular Flood Light PVDF Coating flood light comes with the Philips 5050 super high lumen chip, delivering up to 175 Lumens Per Watt. The Modular Flood Light PVDF Coating unit comes installed with a Meanwell ELG driver.

The Meanwell ELG driver has the option for 0-10v dimming together with DALI.

Each individual head is adjustable making this extremely versatile in it's light distribution. As you would expect INUI LED has all the IES lighting design files. This enables our clients to put together comprehensive lighting designs within RELUX.
